How we check an offer
Signing up for a bank, a phone plan or insurance should not need a law degree. We do the reading for you, and we show our work.
Our five rules
- The official terms come first. Every number links to the company’s own page or document, not to another blog.
- The answer comes first. Each guide starts with the short answer, including the catch.
- Every fact has a date. You always see when we last checked. Offers change, so we re-check them.
- We try things ourselves when we can. When we did, we show it, with dated screenshots.
- Good options that pay us nothing still get listed. If no product fits you, we say so.
Who we write for
People new to the Netherlands, people who want to switch and save, freelancers starting out, and travellers. We write in plain English and Dutch, and we explain every Dutch word the first time it appears.
What we don’t do
- No personal referral codes where a company’s rules forbid sharing them in public.
- No invented bonuses, fake urgency or fake reviews.
- No financial advice. We explain offers; you decide what suits you.
